In waiting for all the members to arrive, a presentation of Serginho Laus’breaking the Guiness World record for the longest wave ridden was shown. / Mientras esperamos a todos los miembros hubo una presentación de Serginho Laus rompiendo el record de correr la ola mas larga del mundo.

Given in oral form due to the fact that the President’s luggage had not arrived and the hard copies were in her luggage. She presented the results of the EC Meeting in March;

Change in the Hosting of the GAMES:

The host nation will no longer be responsible for lodging nor transportation for the teams. They will be responsible for securing good rates for both lodging and transportation..

The EC also decided to create a line of clothing to raise funds and also to bring recognition and awareness of PASA. The products will be sold on line

The EC is currently working on the new website and it will be up and running very soon.

The EC worked on creating Committees and would like volunteers to help with these committees.

El reporte de la Presidenta fue hecho oralmente porque la agenda se había quedado en sus valijas que no habían llegado aun. Ella presento las minutas de la reunión del Comité Ejecutivo y los cambios para los Organizadores de los Juegos Panamericanos. Los cambios son: que el país anfitrión no será responsable para el hospedaje ni el transporte de los equipos. Si será responsable en ofreciendo mejores precios para hoteles y transporte. Ya con este cambio se ha doblado la cantidad de países que querían ser anfitriones.
También el EC ha criado una línea de ropa para levantar fondos para PASA y también para el reconociemento de la Asociación. Estos productos serán vendidos en el website nuevo que el EC ha criado.

También hemos criado Comités y necesitamos gente ahora que estará interesado en trabajar en conjuntos.

7. Presentations for the Pan American Games 2007 / Presentaciones para los Juegos Panamericanos 2007

Presentations from Brazil and Chile were made in regards to the next host city for the Pan- American Games. / Presentaciones fueron hechos por Brasil y Chile para ser anfitrión de los Juegos Panamericanos 2007

Guadeloupe who originally wanted to bid for the Games in 2007, removed their offer to host them instead in 2009. / Guadeloupe tenia las intenciones de hacer los Juegos en 2007, pero se retiro su oferta para 2007 y se ofreció para 2009.

Motion: Guatemala 2nd Barbados

Motion for secret vote: Ecuador 2nd Guatemala

A scrutinizer was appointed, Nicholas Donawa from Barbados / Un contador de votos fue nombrado, Nicholas Donoawa de Barbados

A vote was taken and Chile won with a majority vote. / Hubo votacion y Chile gano con la mayoria del voto.

Venezuela mentioned their need for help with their Olympic Committee.

The President said that they should meet after the meeting to discuss their individual needs. / Venezuela menciono su necesidad de ayuda con su Comité Olímpico y la Presidenta dijo que se podían juntarse en otro momento solos para hablar del tema.

Chile mentioned that the smaller nations should pay lower fees. / Chile menciono de que los paises chicos deberian pagar menos por ano.
