It was an incredible heat, all the surfers were really strong performers. As usual, Punta Rocas gave us amazing waves and it’s getting bigger. I could find two good waves that allowed me to perform well. I’ve been here for three weeks. My mind is set to have a good time and to show what I’ve got and give a good show to the judges” said Barona.

Competition continues tomorrow at 8:00 am with the first rounds of SUP Surf and Longboard for both mens and womens.
