Exciment continues during Day 4 of the Pan American Claro Games

  • Longboard Men, Longboard Women, SUP Surf Women categories have athletes one step away from the medals
  • SUP Technical Races semifinals will take place during Day 5.

With windy and difficult conditions, all representatives from countries still in competition at the Pan American Claro Games, showed their talents during Day 4 of the event.

This day had Open Men Round 1, also the semifinals for Longboard Men, Longboard Women and SUP Surf Women were defined.

In Open Men, Robson Santos from Brazil defeated with 13.50 pts, Ricardo Delgado from Puerto Rico with 8.84 puntos, Lester Hernández from Guatemala (7.36) and Jefferson Tascón from Colombia (7.24).

In Longboard Men, the leader was Benoit Clemente from Peru (15.83 pts) in his heat against Surfiel Gil from Argentina (13.77), Dorian Torres from Costa Rica (12.60) and Rene Gough from Dominican Republic (10.00).

The best athlete in Longboard Women was Chloe Calmon from Brasil (14.00 pts) who advanced to Semifinals along with Peru’s Ana Camila Kaspar (10.80). Mathea Olin from Canada and Gold Medalist in the 2017 Pan Ams scored 9.03 and Michelle Soriano from Ecuador scored 4.20, not enough to continue in competition.

Colombia’s Isabela Gómez highlighted the SUP Surf Women division with a score of 16.00, and defeated Vania Torres from Peru (9.50), Nimsay Garcia from Puerto Rico (4.66) and Michelle Soriano fr Ecuador (0.50).
