Pan Am Surfers Ride for The Last Olympic Slots at 2024 ISA WSG in Puerto Rico

With 55 countries participating, the 2024 ISA World Surfing Games in Puerto Rico boasts a strong Pan American presence, with 116 athletes from 23 nations of the Americas surfing for the last 16 Paris 2024 Olympic Slots.

This includes established surfing powerhouses countries like Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Peru and USA, alongside rising stars from countries like El Salvador, Chile, and Ecuador.

The Pan American surfers aren’t just competing for individual medals.

Their performance also contributes to their national teams’ ranking, which determines the number of Olympic slots allocated, whichs adds a layer of camaraderie and collective responsibility, as each surfer carries the hopes of their entire nation.
