Today Rounds 2 and 3 where completed and the Semifinals are ready. Semifinal will have Daniella Rosas from Peru, Jessica Anderson from Chile and Brisa Hennessy from Costa Rica. In Semifinal 2 Dominic Barona from Ecuador, Rossany Alvarez from Venezuela and Chelsea Tuach from Barbados.

It was an incredible heat, all the surfers were really strong performers. As usual, Punta Rocas gave us amazing waves and it’s getting bigger. I could find two good waves that allowed me to perform well. I’ve been here for three weeks. My mind is set to have a good time and to show what I’ve got and give a good show to the judges” said Barona.

Competition continues tomorrow at 8:00 am with the first rounds of SUP Surf and Longboard for both mens and womens.
